Mother's Day

When will it be celebrated eh? All I know is it'll be in May, which is a month away, hurmm, a couple of weeks from now isn't it? It'll be on Sunday normally, but which Sunday? All that I can guarantee you that I know I'll be waking up early to deliver the newspapers on that day.

This morning I found a group in Facebook called 'I Love my Mom'. Haha... i know for the fact that some guys will laugh and say boo-hoo to tell this story about mom again and being 'anak mak' (mom's child) or 'duduk bawah ketiak mak' (snuffing leaning on mom's armpits - hahaha at the direct translation) over and over again.

At first I found it like a children group with such all pictures of I LOVE MY MOM graphics and even some kind of Paint art whatsoever. Then I clicked to gallery and saw a pic of old woman with all wires on her and lying on a bed. There is a description that really touches my heart. It seems that the picture was taken days before the poster's mom died. And some other pics too describe how they miss their mom. But this picture of mom lying on the bed, is just the saddest thing I ever saw in my life. He/She just describe that he/she misses her so much, the day mom took care of them and all the memories of her, and he/she just want to see her again on the bed and that's why he/she keeps the last picture of her until now.

Man, this just keep me to remember and miss my mom so much. Hahaha. Can't help it. When you are all away from home, you'll feel it deeply. And i miss all of them too, i mean my family... and the food. I want nasi goreng, nasi paprik and nasi lemak. Okay, back to the topic.

This year I really don't have nothing to buy. I really hope that a wish will be enough... err i don't know. I don't really have so much money to buy a bouquet of flowers like I bought in 2007 via online Malaysian florist. That time it really caught my mom by surprise. And I kept it secret with my older sister and younger brother. What i regretted the most was i only made the wish on the card only to myself and i didn't include my siblings' names together.

This year will be also on a sad note as i still can't manage to celebrate Mother's Day again in Malaysia. It's a pity for me that i have to endure all this. Moreover at some point I pretty felt low in morale. But that is life...

I don't sure enough that these songs are appropiate for moms or not, but really, i wish you all to enjoy with.

Men vs Women?

True to my words, here is the first video I want to share with you. It is a Nike advertisement promoting somewhat Men VS Women thing, which I do not know what the purpose is.
I bummed into this video when I'm surfing in Roger Federer's website forum. Yes Roger Federer featured in this ad. Why is in the sudden I'm mentioning about Roger Federer? Am I his loyal fans? (or in Malay we call 'kipas susah mati'). Absolutely lah. Haha!

Welcome to the desperate world!

Hola! (but not in Brazil actually)

I'm kind of starting all these things to have my own blog in English. Okay. I'll try to make this site or blog interesting with my broken English as you may read it.

What ever... this is a real desperate world. Kinda and sort of. Because sometimes you need to put effort on it to pull it through. I suspect you all will be a little bit wondering what I'm talking about but let just me keep the secret about the purposes I'm making all this new blog for myself.

Talking about the world, now I'm here studying in Germany in my last semester, Insya Allah, and I like to say that I had travelled to a lot of places and famous cities such as Paris, London, Prague, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne (of course, these cities are in Germany!)... to name a few...

The crazy thing is I'd been to Paris 2 times and London 3 times. That's one of the reason why I become near bankruptcy now, LOL. But being in London was the memorable ones. The first trip was together with my friends of 5 and I spent a lot. I won't tell you how much I spent.
The second time I went there, I was renewing my passport and the third time there was the sweetest because I spent my quality time with my beloved parents. The third time there we slept at St. Athan Hotel, a 3 star or maybe 2 star (I really forget) hotel, near Russel's Square.

Being in Paris was not a good one for me although the sightseeing was great with Eiffel Tower, the Arch de Triomphe, or the Pyramid of Lourve Museum. But I really hate the Metro because I had to walk a long way underground to have a connection between 2 different metrolines. The second time I was there, I was with my parents. Giving that my parents are not very ready to walk very far like that, I felt pity for them because they didn't have such a long walk like that since years. And the saddest thing was my father's leg were hurting with a wound, that at some certain time I saw it bleed. I can really say, Paris is suitable for young couples or young groupies who want to enjoy the vacation. If in the future that I will be back with my parents in Paris, I'll make sure that I'll have sufficient money to get taxis or rent a car. About the hotel? I don't want to tell it because it was not a very good hotel. So be it.

So these two cities are really very known and famous cities but both are different to me. London is great because it is easy to communicate with locals if you're lost in the city. But to have a perfect French tounge is not very easy feeling. And plus you know nothing on the streets without the city guide. But since it is a big city you would be lucky to find foreigners who speak English there.

I'm gonna add some videos or whatever interesting (news, articles, nice pictures etc.) to this blog/site in the future. Please, if you have any ideas to make this blog interesting and having a good traffic (hehe), do shout at the comment below.
